Orginally posted by Gail Knapp Kathy, How'd you get the flashing Happy birthday icon on your post? GailK
Gail, There a few of those smiley sites on the web. To find the site for that particular smiley or any other you might find posted on a forum. Right click on the smiley and click properties and follow the URL to that site and click on one of the smilies and copy the text that comes up in the box and paste it in your message and wallah it will appear when you submit your post. Here is one of the sites http://www.mysmilies.com/ and another is: http://www.stopstart.fsnet.co.uk/smilie/smiliemenu.html They are fun. I am not sure if they slow the website down or not. You are not really putting a picture on the site, just linking our forum to that site for the picture. Have fun! Image Cheers, Kathy Smile

Mine is June 24. I had one of those super traumatic birthdays that end in a zero and am still recovering from the shock and traumaEEK! I agree that keeping track of birthdays is a wonderful idea.

OK, folkfan, we want to know why your brother made your birthday so great! Inquiring minds want to know LOL! As a teacher, my students would always want to know when my birthday is, and how old I am. But, I never made it easy on them. I would give them clues, and they had to solve the puzzle to figure it out. Let's see how the ED folk do (it should be easy for you smart people Wink !). I was born on Canada Day, the year that Alaska became a state. (amazing how hard this was for 8th graders to solve - they hated looking things upLOL! )
