The Sledgehammer!

Call the tune - Talk about whatever!

I like the latest changes. Removing the "bold on hover" from the menus looks a lot better; however, the "Contact Us" at the bottom still goes bold on hover. I also like that you tied the menus into the discussion forum. That makes the site more cohesive. Great job!!

I'm not seeing this. Have you tried refreshing the page? There have been a number of changes in the look of ED, so your browser made still have some old files saved.

Stay on me about this. It's on my list, but not at the top of it. There are some nice improvements coming down the pike soon regarding folks self-maintaining their content.

I want the return of eye-candy as well!

I am new to Everything Dulcimer so whatever you do will be fine with me! I discovered the site while searching for information on a friend from back in the 1980's--Dorsey Williams. I have one of his dulcimers and I understand Joe Holbert made a recording of some of Dorsey's favorites. Would appreciate information to contact Joe and on how to to purchase a copy of this recording.

Thanks.

I'm rolling out some new capability that allows you to edit your own teacher, performer or builder listing. Will you try it out?

- Log in anywhere on the site (use your discussion login).
- Then go to any non-discussion page and click the link at the top that says "Vew or Edit my Content/Information".
- You'll see a link there for "Submit, Edit, or Delete Your Professional Information"

Note that your listing will disappear until it's looked at again by an admin. (All new, or changed content is reviewed!)

Soon, a similar process will be in place for events and clubs information.

Thanks to Ron Zuckerman for all his hard work on this. He is an amazing programmer!

There is currently a problem with the Teachers, Builders, and Performers pages where the description in each entry contains the description of all of the previous entries. Rest assured that the data actually contained in the ED database is still correct and does not need to be edited; the data is just being displayed incorrectly. I will be fixing this bug ASAP. I'm sorry for any inconvenience this is causing.

Ron

Well, I've sent Bruce the new code that should fix the problems with the Teachers, Builders, and Performers pages. It's just a matter of when he has time to integrate it.

Ron
