Marc, As I said, I read more French than I can speak or even write. For my communication to Cristian I used Babelfish. However, I would keep changing the words in English as when I read them in French they hadn't translated correctly. I kept doing this until I felt that what I was reading in French was what I was trying to say in English. I read your message to me automatically in French as your saying that we should correspond occasionally via email. (Not an exact translation, which would have been more "I should send you emails occasionally or from time to time. EMail is a completely new word to me in French as electronic courier is a concept that came into being long after I left high school)

Il est intéressant comment l'esprit peut se rappeler une langue même après des années de ne pas entendre la langue parlée. Bien plus intéressant en essayant de se rappeler le français, j'ai rappelé des mots hébreux et allemands. A confusion of three languages rattling around in my brain on top of English. But the more French I read, the more I remember. Svp, écrivez-moi, et je pourrai améliorer ma capacité de lire, et écris aussi bien. Merci.

Well it's been about 30 years now since I took French in school and I can still read it like Folkfan and pretty much follow the conversation, but I'm not going to try replying in French, I would butcher it too much.

I did thoroughly enjoy the videos though, you did a great job on all of them. Thanks for sharing! I'll have to watch for you to post that you've put more out there. :)

whaouh !
you speak brezhoneg ? !!!

it's "extraordinaire" here !
someone speak english, someone speak also hebreu, it's plenty of poeple speaking french !... and now i find here a man living in england (?... manchester ?...) and speaking "breton" !!!
marvelous !

so, I don't speak brezhoneg very well (in fact, I speak... bad !) , even if, in this case, I have understood what you say without problem.
some day I'll try to take lessons. because I have words of "vannetais de la vallée du scorff", my father's land with many other worlds from all the parts of britany... and with a very bad grammary.
that's THE problem...
the celtic grammary is very different...

and you ?
what's your way for a so good brezhoneg speaking ?

so... find breton music for dulcimer isn't easy.
maybe I'll make a method some day...
and I'll put a video here when I'll have time for.

so, thanks a lot for these brezhoneg words. it was a surprise and a pleasure to read that.
degemer mad ha trugarez vraz.

LOL - un tammig; but it's not very good. I live in the northeastern US actually - in the state of New Hampshire.

I study languages and Celtic languages are among my favorite - I am also part Breton on my mother's side (though nobody speaks it at all in the family).

Yes, it's quite hard to find Breton folk music for Dulcimer; I have a few tunes, but mostly, I have to "play by ear" and work them out slowly.

I saw that it was in there, but I have not had a chance to read it yet. I am looking forward to doing so.
