I find the forum so valuable. I learn so much and can expand my understanding of mountain dulcimers. I am thankful for all you do to make this website available for us.

SHEESH! You guys are doing the best you can. Life goes on. I can post again if any of it matters. I'm sure it doesn't. And I could care less about my post count.

I appreciate your efforts on our part.

I'll recap... If I had to run this board I would have locked the door, hung up the "Gone Fishin' " sign, and got the hell out of town a long time ago.
Dan do you play the Dulcimer? If not, get to work. If you do then you, Bruce, and Steve sit down with a MD or HD and play for one hour. Now get cracking.

Well put!

No cross-fire here. Been there done that. Learned the lesson the same way. :) I know what I posted and will repost. BTW, you have done an amazing job here. Keep it coming. Something you should keep in mind is trust is also given to the person and you all have loads of leftovers. :)

Crikey Chaps!!!!!!!

I thought it was dementia finally kicking in when I looked at threads and thought I had responded to them but then could not see my posts. Am VERY relieved to learn it was a data problem in the world of cyberspace and not in me head  .

I can only echo the excellent points made by others. ED is a unique forum with a sound ethical base and you chaps have joined forces in order to maintain this wonderful freely accessible service for all of us around the globe. Glitches and gremlins can hit anyone, anywhere; you have done a tremendous and responsive job in this newly updated version of ED and have kept us informed of issues and have offered apologies for an error. 'Nuff said; draw a line under it, go have a beer and a noodling session on your instruments of choice, with the people who help make you feel good about yourself, and know that you have the support of the online community that is ED.

With heartfelt thanks for this wonderful service you offer.

OK so maybe you lost a few posts, but YOU FOUND MY AVATAR! I am happy beyond measure. I suppose I don't make sense, because it was your pic & not mine in the first place, but I'd gotten rather fond of it. More fond of it than of any silly words I might have written last week. It's obvious that refinements are being made and glitches are being smoothed out on the site every day. Keep up the great work!

And thanks again for my birdie. :D
