DaveF - your wife is dead wrong about numbers of instruments, But she DOES have a fabulous ear for good sound. Rolled Eye I appreciate the comment about the banjimer - Thanx

Thanks DaveF for bringing the KenH Banjimer and the Dulcijo to the Mad River Valley Club meeting tonight. I hope you didn't have as much fog heading south as we had heading north. Hey KenH, that banjimer does indeed have a very nice sound, and plenty of volume to boot, even though I played it as softly as I could because I knew I would mess up too much on the song the club was practicing! Thank you Larry for you and your club members for allowing to sit in with you. We had a great time and picked up a lot of new music. Hopefully we do it more when the weather breaks. Dave

larry; The banjimer surely does have significant volume, doesn't it. EEK! I like the sound a lot too. I'm glad y'all had a chance to get together and share music and instrumetns,

yes, I have the complete collection of the foxfire books,I purchased them in the early eighties, and they do have a lot of info on banjos and dulcimers, I was really interested in the fact that mountain folks made out with what they had and could really improvise, This being the fact that a lot of my relatives are around and spread out in that general area.
