New Workshop CD Available - Moon River

Hi all,

Just wanted to let you all know about a new teaching/workshop CD I have available for the song "Moon River". It was written in 1961 by Henry Mancini (music) and Johnny Mercer (lyrics) for the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's", which starred Audrey Hepburn. The song won the Academy Award for best original song that year.



It has subsequently been recorded/performed by such artists as Andy Williams, Louis Armstrong, Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, and Lena Horne. Thanks to Gary Sager for providing the inspiration for this mt. dulcimer arrangement.

The 65-minute CD is divided up into individual tracks covering small sections in detail, looping entire parts, and culminating with a “play-along” track.
