A question for out youn dulcimer players

I am writing a children's book with a mountain dulcimer as the main character. I was wondering if the young dulcimer players would find this story interesting and would consider reading a book about a mountain dulcimer and the different challenges and situations he may get into? This book is geared towards middle school - 6th and 7th grade. But I have already had a grade school teacher tell me she would still love to read it to her lower grade children.
