Mingo Creek Strummers on radio!!!

Well, my little group of dulcimer players is really excited. Three of the intermediate players appeared on a local radio show today as part of a program about Tara Hall Home for Boys (www.tarahall.org ). It is a small radio station in Georgetown, SC (WLMC, 1470) but part of the Trinity Broadcasting Network. The boys were really excited when the host of the program told them the show would reach about 180,000 people because it was being streamed over the Internet. We performed three songs: Jesus Loves Me, Lonesome Valley and Amazing Grace. I’m very proud of the boys for the job they did. Hopefully, we introduced the mountain dulcimer to a few more folks.
