Della,
I will send you a PM on FOTMD later today, please check your inbox there tonight.

Happy to report that Pearl went very peacefully last night- purring right through it all while being cuddled and kissed. I know it was what she would have chosen for herself, and that makes me feel better.

I am so glad to hear of the tearful/joyful tribute to Rod last night. I just know his spirit was somehow able to share in it and feel the love.
i too keep expecting him to call me on phone, but his legacy to the dulcimer world will stay alive and vibrant for many years to come. He helped literally thousands of new players.

I attended my first Paltalk dulcimer club meeting last night. It was cool! Got to hear some very good playing and singing. Had a few technical difficulties-computer shut down twice-but was able to stay connected for the majority of the meeting. Wow, who would have thought something like this would ever be possible! Will try to attend more now that I got my feet wet.

Had a great turn out. Some new players too! Phil M.... you really sounded GREAT!!!!! Was awesome to hear you play. Those that left a little early missed hearing Marc Mathieu play noter style. Seems he and some power tools had a little conflict. Hope you all can make it again next week. It was AWESOME!!!

Thanks Marshall
I think it's great that you started the meeting room and have kept it going for so long. For me, it is the closest thing to playing on something like a live radio program. My mic is on but I don't know how well I'm being heard and/or how well my contribution is being received. My music is just going out there. Everyone has been very supportive. Also, it has caused me to learn so many songs on dulcimer that I didn't know I could play on a dulcimer.

Phil
You played great last night. Your new dulcimer sounds real good. I think I've experienced a computer lock up once or twice, but I've always been able to restart the application and get back in line. I try not to run anything else (email, browsing, etc.) while I'm on line and have had great results.

Marc
You played great, banged up thumb and all. Noter style is the way to go if you have a damaged digit.

Thanks
Dave

Phil. We are glad you joined us. You are one of those really good players for sure. Dave Listening to you has made me try different things on the dulcimer like playing and singing using chords insted of just melody. All yall keep comming back. I am thinking of opening on an additional night and or time. Im open to suggestions.

Hi all !!
Glad I decided to join in (even if it was for last few minutes) to hear some great tunes being played and to play a few myself!!
You were all awesome !
A small slip of an electric hand drill can do alot of damage to digits !!!
Noter style was the only way to play with this injured left thumb...
Appreciate it very much that you enjoyed my tunes! Tnx!
Hope that by next week, I can resume normal playing, but still might throw in a noter tune or two once in a while.
Have a good week & catch y'all next Tuesday.
