Jamming and Camping at Disney after Key West Fest

Call the tune - Talk about whatever!

Postby Guy George » Sun Nov 01, 2009 9:47 am

I've been talking about going to Fort Wilderness in Disney after Key West. The Central Florida Dulcimer and Autoharp Festival is 2 weeks after Key West . I'll be teaching and performing there also. I love Disney . Haven't been there for a few years. Disney is 380 miles from Key West and 45 miles from Mount Dora. It's just about on the way if you play on going to both festivals while in Florida. I think it would be so cool to have a bunch of campers at Fort Wilderness Jamming at Disney. I think the camping rates start at about 47 dollars a nite . I'm planning on being there Tues - Thursday after Key West. Feb 2-4.
My first time in Florida for any Dulcimer events and I want to make it worth while . This is not just for campers if you want to get a room and meet us for some jamming that would be great . Gotta see that mouse again...........

George, I am sure we could round up a group to come down/up for the evening to Jam. Sounds like a plan is taking shape.

We're about 45 minutes from the mouse... if we can hubby and I will sit in on a jam or 2.
See you in Key West.
Hugs,
Della

Holy Jamming Batman! My sister lives 20 minutes from the mouse, and that is where I will be after Key West, so count me in! At least for jamming a night or two..
Looking forward to some sun!

I'm up for that - and some hijinks in the parks as well. Wonder if they would balk at speedos at the campgrounds? ;)
