Wanted - Simerman Mtn Dulcimer

I also have a Simerman performance dulcimer I'm interested in selling. It has a beautiful rosewood back, pick-up, inlays etc. and hasn't been played for more than 5 hours total and is in the very same condition as when Mr. Simerman sent it. It was a gift for a very special anniversary, but I never learned how to play . Mr. Simerman was very found of this one and up to that date was the nicest dulcimer he ever made according to the conversation he and my husband had. I'm willing to let it go for what my husband paid which was $1566 + shipping.

I have a beautiful Kurt Simmerman dulcimer that I need to sell. I've lowered the price by $100 since I first listed it. Kurt made it for me several years before he passed away and it has hardly been played. The top is beautiful mahogany with walnut back and sides, ebony fretboard, star shaped sound holes, stars and moon inlay. It also has a false bottom and comes with a hardshell case. Just wanted to say that yes indeed a Simerman dulcimer is worth it. It's particularly wonderful if you have small hands as the scale length is just a touch smaller. The sound I get from my double back is better than the sound on ANY other dulcimer I have ever played, and I've tried hundreds. I was so terribly saddened when I heard Kurt had passed. It was such a huge loss. I really think the dulcimer I purchased from him is worth 3 times what I paid!
