Lee Pack dulcimer for sale - $125

Postby bluemoon72 » Wed Aug 15, 2012 8:28 pm

Hi guys! I have a mountain dulcimer for sale handmade by noted maker Lee Pack, who has been crafting MDs for three decades. It was only used about five times and is in near-new condition, with just a couple of small dings from moving houses a couple of times over the years. I have no idea what the wood is, perhaps pecan? It's very pretty and makes a bright yet mellow sound. I'll take lots of pictures so that you can judge the wood used. The dulcimer is signed inside the soundhole "Lee Pack #89 6/3/07." I am the first and original owner of this dulcimer. Thanks! (Pics coming very soon.)

I am so sorry I forgot to ever post the pictures! I apologize and am adding them now. Any thoughts on the wood used would be greatly appreciated! Perhaps curly maple???

Pictures can be weird so forgive this question. It looks as though the head and neck might be parting company. Any actual problems there? Thanks.
