The Gallery is coming back to life.

The Gallery is coming back to life.

We turned the Gallery back on late last night. I haven't placed a link to it at the top of the forum page yet, but you can get to it from the home page if you hover over the Files tab. Gallery is one of the options now. You'll notice there are a few orphaned photos in there. If you can supply more information about these just click on the link: Needs info, do you have it?

Users who have registered and logged into the non-discussion forum part of Everything Dulcimer can add albums and items, but can't edit or delete yet.

We encourage you to add some cool albums and kick the tires a bit. I consider this a good solid working beta release of the Gallery, but we'll know more after you get in there and play.

Speaking of playing. The gallery should play well with all browsers but there's something really fun awaiting Firefox users. Click Slideshow in the gallery. This is by far the fastest way to zoom through some images. Then click the 3D in the upper right-hand corner. Download the Firefox extension, and restart the browser. Enjoy the ride. Very cool.

Once you get to the 3D wall, be sure and play around using your scroll wheel. Wheeeeeeeeeeee!

As I've said before, it just keeps on getting better and better. Thanks. Your hard work is really paying off. I can't even remember what the old site looked like. I'm in love with this new one. Lee

I posted 3 test pics of my cherry teardrop, but somehow did not get them into an album. How do I fix that?

I can't fix it from where I am now. Don't worry about though. We'll move them next week.

If anyone wants to put pics in a particular album, remember to open that album first. Dan

Happy to! You need to log in first. You will then see Add Album and Add Items choices on the left hand side of the Gallery.

But what if I'm already logged in!?

Remember, the forum you are reading now is on a completely different login system from the rest of the site (just like it was on the old site). You have to create an account to add items to those pages by clicking the login/out tab. You'll see that tab when you go to the Home Page, or any other page of the non-discussion forum pages of Everything Dulcimer.

You mean I have to create an account, even if I already have one on the forum? Yes. Click the login/out tab and look for the words No Account Yet? Create an account.
