Thanks for posting this, Rod. Don is an interesting guy and a really nice and genuine person. I always enjoy talking to him and taking workshops with him. Nobody, and I mean nobody, has his "strum"!

You're right...NOBODY has his strum. I met a young girl (around 16?) at a festival that had taken some lessons from Don and when she started playing she scared me half to death! I thought she was gonna break that dulcimer she was beating it so hard! I saw "Don" in what she was trying to immulate. Lordy, hope that instrument survived! :lol:

Oh, Rod, I enjoyed that a lot-- thanks for posting it! Just seeing DPedi with a dulcimer and then remembering your photos of Owen strumming. . . Aren't dulcimers the best things? 8)
